UJN Chinese Language and Culture Summer Camp
I. Program Overview
To promote international youth cultural exchange, University of Jinan offers this Chinese Language and Culture Summer Camp. The program enables overseas students to experience the charm of Chinese culture, explore the cultural heritage and urban vitality of Jinan, the "City of Springs", and gain an in-depth understanding of both traditional culture and contemporary China's development.
II. Program Highlights
The program integrates Shandong culture with traditional Chinese heritage. It offers featured courses such as Introductory Chinese, Calligraphy, Martial Arts, and Intangible Cultural Heritage Paper-Cutting. Participants will also visit Jinan's renowned natural and cultural sites such as Baotu Spring, Daming Lake, and the Shandong Museum. Through diverse learning activities, the camp creates an immersive cultural experience, allowing participants to fully appreciate the essence of traditional Chinese culture and the unique charm of the Shandong province.

Program Duration
The program lasts 14 days in total. Specific start and end dates will be notified by the university.
Minimum Group Size
15 people.
Eligibility
---Non-Chinese citizens holding valid passports, in good health.
--- current middle school or university students with a good academic record, no disciplinary violations during their current studies.
Fees (in RMB per person)
Training fee: 2,800 RMB (including four-bed room living, Jinan airport/train station round-trip transfers and insurance )
Personal Expenses: International airfare, visa fees, and personal living costs are to be borne by the participant.
IV. Application Materials
---Completed "UJN Summer Camp Application Form for International Students";
---Scanned copy of the passport photo page;
---Electronic version of a personal ID photo;
---Scanned copy of the Certificate of Enrollment (issued by the current school, indicating grade/year and major, with the school's official stamp).
V. Additional Information
Admitted participants are responsible for applying for their own visa to China (either an X2 visa or a tourist visa is acceptable). The university will assist by providing an invitation letter and other necessary documents for the visa application process.
During the camp, participants must strictly abide by Chinese laws and regulations as well as Jinan University's rules and disciplines. They are required to attend all courses and activities on time and are not permitted to leave the camp without authorization.
Participants who successfully complete all program requirements will be awarded a Certificate of Completion by the university.
Outstanding camp participants may receive priority recommendations for admission to UJN's preparatory, undergraduate, or graduate programs.
